StopNCII: privacy-preserving hash protection for adults

StopNCII creates a digital fingerprint on the user’s device and shares the hash with participating platforms instead of uploading the underlying intimate file to StopNCII. Its current eligibility includes adult intimate images of the person submitting the case, including eligible synthetic or fake intimate images.

No intimate upload required to startNo adsNo hacking claims

What to do

  1. Confirm you are depicted in the image and were over 18 when it was created.
  2. Use only an eligible intimate file already on your device; do not download a new copy just to submit it.
  3. Generate the fingerprint on-device through StopNCII; the underlying image or video does not leave your device.
  4. Participating platforms compare submitted hashes against content under their own policies and can act on matching material.
  5. Continue website removal, Search removal and monitoring for non-participating sites, altered copies or other surfaces.
StopNCII cannot remove content from the whole internet and works only with participating platforms; its hash protection complements rather than replaces source and search-removal work.
